Changzhou Globe Tools Co., Ltd. is the founding company of the Globe Tools Group, a manufacturer of cordless outdoor power equipment established in 2002 and headquartered in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. From an OEM origin it has become a global brand owner specialised in lithium-ion garden tools, with the STIHL group as a minority investor.
Its best-known brand is Greenworks, which covers lawn mowers — including robotic models —, leaf blowers, trimmers, chainsaws and pressure washers on shared battery platforms of several voltages, alongside the Powerworks and Cramer brands for other channels and regions. The Changzhou plant integrates motor, plastics and metal production with capacity in the order of 1.8 million units per month and over 6,500 employees.
