About Shanghai Baud Data Communication Co., Ltd.
Shanghai Baud Data Communication Co., Ltd. (BDCOM), founded in 1994 and headquartered in Zhangjiang High-Tech Park, Pudong, Shanghai, is one of China's pioneering suppliers of networking and communication solutions: it independently invented the first X.25 network card and the first commercialised router in China. It has stayed at the vanguard of networking technology ever since, with products deployed across China's banking system, education system, government and even defence system.
Its catalogue covers enterprise and industrial Ethernet switches from the S1500 to the S8500 series — from unmanaged devices to 100G L3 cores and PoE versions — EPON and GPON optical access products among the most comprehensive in the domestic market, routers and network security devices, plus WLAN solutions. The company also acts as an OEM/ODM supplier for a significant share of the world's top networking brands, according to its own international trade fair presentations.
BDCOM reinvests more than 15% of its annual turnover in research and development and runs an advanced reliability testing laboratory and a product assessment centre at its Shanghai head office. Its service network includes regional centres and branches in 32 major Chinese cities and offices abroad, with sales in key countries of Asia, Europe, America and Australia, as it evolves into an international networking corporation.
