About BANMOO
BANMOO is a Chinese solid-wood furniture brand founded in 2006 in Shanghai by architect Lv Yongzhong. It was born with the aim of reinterpreting traditional Chinese aesthetics in a contemporary language, and has become one of the reference names of the so-called new Chinese style in furniture.
Its pieces are built mainly in American black walnut and Morado rosewood, with careful joinery and finishes that leave the natural grain visible. The catalogue covers tables, chairs, sideboards, beds and signature pieces for living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms, backed by around one hundred design patents.
The brand manufactures at its base in Pudong, Shanghai, and sells through its own stores and distributors in China. Its official website, with an English section, presents the brand's story, its materials and its craftsmanship.
