About 17 Education & Technology Group Inc.
17 Education & Technology Group is a Chinese education technology company headquartered in Shanghai, built around its well-known Yiqi Zuoye school platform. Through its official website it offers an ecosystem of products for students, teachers, parents and education authorities: the homework application that gives the group its name, Yiqi Zhongxue for secondary schools, Yiqi Xue for home learning, and the Yijiao Yixue teaching system, designed to digitise everyday classroom work.
The company works directly with entire school districts. Its own website documents strategic agreements with Minhang District in Shanghai, Nankai District in Tianjin and Xicheng District in Beijing to build regional education data platforms, roll out smart learning terminals and create model smart-education schools, with personalised learning tools supported by artificial intelligence and data analytics.
Listed on Nasdaq, 17 Education presents itself as a provider of integrated smart-education solutions: it does not sell a single homework app, but the digital infrastructure with which schools and local governments manage teaching, student monitoring and quality improvement across primary and secondary education.
